This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, deliver, and handle orders placed on www.palkayas.com 

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

  • Standard processing time is 2–5 business days for ready-made items.

  • For made-to-order or customized pieces, processing may take 7–21 business days, depending on design complexity.

  • You will receive an email/SMS confirmation once your order has been processed and dispatched.

Note: Processing and shipping times may be extended during festive seasons or high-order periods.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timeline

a) Domestic Shipping (Within India)

  • Standard delivery: 3–7 business days after dispatch

  • Express delivery (if available): 1–3 business days after dispatch

b) International Shipping

  • Global delivery timelines vary by destination and typically take 7–15 business days after dispatch.

  • Remote locations may require additional time.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, customs clearance, or unforeseen events.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

  • Palkaya may offer free shipping on certain orders, value thresholds, or promotions.

  • International shipping charges vary based on destination, package weight, and courier service.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • Tracking link

  • Courier partner details

  • Estimated delivery date

Tracking updates depend on the courier’s systems and may vary slightly.

5. International Duties, Customs & Taxes

For orders delivered outside India:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

  • These charges are not included in product or shipping costs.

  • They are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to customs or the courier at the time of delivery.

Palkaya does not reimburse or cover such fees.

6. Shipping Address & Delivery Attempts

  • Please provide an accurate and complete delivery address, including PIN code and contact number.

  • Courier partners typically make two delivery attempts.

  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address, unavailability, or customer refusal, the order may be returned to us.

  • Re-delivery may incur additional shipping charges.

7. Packaging

All Palkaya orders are packed with:

  • Premium protective materials

  • Tamper-proof packaging

  • Brand signature boxes or envelopes (where applicable)

In the rare event of damaged packaging, notify us and the courier immediately.

8. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

Palkaya is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by courier delays, weather, customs, or unforeseen circumstances

  • Lost or stolen packages where tracking shows successful delivery

If your order is lost in transit (not delivered), we will assist you in raising an investigation with the courier.

For damaged items, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos at: info@palkayas.com

9. Undelivered Orders / RTO (Return to Origin)

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Multiple failed delivery attempts

  • Customer unavailability

  • Refusal to accept delivery

We will contact you to arrange re-delivery.
Additional shipping fees may apply.

10. Changes to Shipping Policy

Palkaya reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time.
Updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
